1Storyline:
In 1979, the U.S. embassy in Iran was invaded by Iranian revolutionaries and several Americans were taken hostage. However, six managed to escape the official residence of the Canadian Ambassador and the CIA finally ordered them to leave the country. With few alternatives, established exfiltration expert Tony Mendez, a bold plan: to create a false Canadian film projects that want to take pictures in Iran and the Americans of their production team contraband. With the help of a few trusted contacts Hollywood, Mendez created the band and go to Iran as its co-producer. However, time is running out with the Iranian security forces closing the truth while her two charges and the White House had serious doubts about the operation itself same.
